Expressive Art Therapist
Hello and welcome! I am a pre-licensed therapist (under supervision) who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space for individuals navigating life’s challenges.
I specialize in working with people healing from trauma and codependent behaviours, as well as those managing ADHD and learning new ways to care for themselves with compassion. I also have lived experience in deconstructing and healing from oppressive religious practices.
My approach is collaborative, creative and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll explore the patterns keeping you stuck, and build the skills and resiliency to move towards the balance and clarity you’re seeking.
Nothing regulates my nervous system like standing with my face in the sun. I love reading, dogs, journaling and researching my family roots. In the past few years, I have been delighted to find out more about my Metis heritage and how it intersects with the parts of my family tree that are steeped in colonialism. I have been a teacher in both the elementary and secondary school systems since 2008, teaching English, Drama and Guidance Counselling.
Please reach out for a free 30 minute consultation if you think working together would benefit your healing journey!
