Who I Work With
I support adults navigating challenges such as:
• Family conflict and intergenerational stress
• Workplace stress, burnout, or organizational change
• Grief and loss, including caregiving-related grief
• Relationship tension, emotional invalidation, and boundary challenges
• Low self-worth, withdrawal, or difficulty expressing needs
My Approach to Therapy
I provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and validated. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and culturally sensitive. Depending on your needs, I may draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including:
• Psychodynamic Therapy – exploring unconscious patterns and family dynamics that shape current experiences
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – building practical strategies to manage stress, low mood, and negative thought cycles
• Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – deepening awareness of emotional patterns and fostering healthier relational bonds
• Existential Therapy – exploring meaning, identity, and personal values in times of change or uncertainty
Together, we may focus on:
• Reducing stress from family and work dynamics
• Exploring grief, caregiving stress, and unresolved family patterns
• Strengthening resilience, emotional regulation, and self-worth
• Developing healthier coping strategies beyond suppression or withdrawal
• Building boundaries and practicing clearer expression of needs
A Bit About Me
As an immigrant who has lived in both collectivist and individualist cultures, I bring a deep appreciation for the ways identity, family, and culture shape our lives. These experiences allow me to approach therapy with openness, cultural sensitivity, and respect for diverse values and stories.
